No. III · Eau de Parfum
Minuit
What the garden does when no one is watching.
Iris · Black Fig · Night Air
The Composition
Minuit is the youngest perfume of the house — sealed in 2011 after three hundred and twelve trials. It began as an attempt to bottle the garden at Rue de l'Oratoire at two in the morning: fig leaves cooling, iris roots breathing under black soil, and the particular air that exists only between midnight and the first birds. It is worn by people who prefer questions to answers.
Tête
Top notesBlack fig leaf · Bitter green
The snap of a fig leaf in the dark — milky, green, and slightly forbidding.
Cœur
Heart notesOrris root · Violet leaf
Iris as the house insists on it: raw root, cold and suede-like, never powder.
Fond
Base notesNight air accord · Cedar · Ambrette
The empty space of the composition. A coolness with no name that makes everything else honest.
The Ritual
Worn at night, or in defiance of the morning. One trace inside each wrist — Minuit rises with the pulse.
